ABSA plastics with good impact strength used extensively in consumer electronics and a variety of custom products such as clips, price tagholders, etc.
ACRYLICAlthough sometimes used as a generic term to describe plastics, acrylic is a particular type of plastic characterized by its clarity and rigidity which make it suitable for display parts and glazing. Many people know it as Plexilas tm.
BUTYRATE(Cellulose-Acetate Butyrate) A thermoplastic made from cellulose treated with acetic and butyric acids. Transparent, opaque or colored with excellent molding qualities, it is used where more moisture resistance and dimensional stability is required.
POLYCARBONATEA high-impact plastic with excellent heat resistance. Commonly used in extruded fluorescent safety sleeves, spectacle lenses, packaging tubes, vandal-proofing applications and sign faces.
POLYETHYLENE
Excellent water absorption, chemical resistance and light-weight. Examples would be closet pole covers and metal pipe covers.
STYRENEThermoplastic copolymer with good scratch, chemical, and stress-crack resistance
